Moshava owner and head chef Nir Sheynfeld grew up in Israel then moved to the States and graduated from the world-renowned Culinary Institute of America. From there he went on to work at award-winning restaurants like Zahav and Suraya.
His food truck concept is elevated modern Israeli street food. His unique, yet approachable, menu transports you to the streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Here are just some of the amazing items on his menu.
Lamb Shawarma Pita- Bok Choy, Caramelized Onions, and Charred Harissa
Falafel Pita- Herb Tahina, Corn Salsa, and Herbs
Sabich Pita – Fried Eggplant, Spicy Matbucha, and Egg
Arayes Pita – Ground Lamb, Herb Labneh (Think of this dish as an Israeli hamburger, the ground lamb and herbs are stuffed into pita, then grilled all together. The finished product is crispy, fluffy pita on the outside, and unctuous ground lamb on the inside.
